if your looking for some cheap suspension try 2modified.com I colourcoded mine myself, not too hard a job i just used the cans from halfords! You wont need a respray, just take it to a good bodyshop who will pc polish it all over and will get rid of all swirl marks etc :)
no idea - think they've got an online catalogue, and if you become a member you get 10% off. for me that was more than the membership charge.
mine are direct replacement discs and pads.
yeah he mentioned using you as guinea pig for my lamba sensor fitment :) only joking, you wont be disappointed hes really good with a mint reputation. hes also put one on his 172 so your pretty much guaranteed to have a problem free exhaust. ive had some problems (of my own making) and every...
my philosophy exactly. im also intrigued as to whether it'll make a difference :)
i'll take it to the West Mids rolling road, and get laughed at by all you RS' ;)
yeah mine OEM were really good, but the pagid/brembos stop alot quicker when you really wack them, otherwise they're about the same. id recommend them for the money
he originally stated it would be £298. he does do the 200 and the 100cpsi sports cats, but said he would go with the 200 to make sure it didnt affect the MOT emissions. main reason is i just fancied one and at that price i couldnt really say no lol
in my experience this powerflow dealer has...
GSF are really good place for you parts. i;ve got pagid max pads with brembo max discs and i think its a good combination. not sure if you use the same brakes on an 8v, but would imagine they'd do some to fit. mine were around £95 for pads and discs. They also do OEM renault stuff quite cheap...
think you can get it cheaper than that from www.2modified.com or from koni direct.
id be tempted to say FK coilovers which are approximately 445 delivered from 2modified as the handling on mine is superb. but if you dont need a big drop, then the konis would suffice as i was really happy...
...from my local powerflow dealer
the current cat back system i've got was causing some banging due to the weight of the backox/centre section id specified. as such, went up to see him today and he agreed to make me a stealth system with a 200cpsi sports cat for my 1.2 for 150 all in.
in...
should have mentioned im on coilovers wound down as far as they'll go.
becuase of this they're claiming the arm on the tracking device wont go under the arch.
my car (2003 dynamique) is in need of 4 wheel tracking and camber checking. so far ive only found two companies in stoke who can do it, and both want around 100.
they're quoted so much because they're claiming they cant get the conventional tracking arms onto the car, so ill need something...
engine pics and specs please :) be interested to know how it got that much? Also gmax suspension with 220bhp? I would've gone for coilovers if your gonna spend that much on a car
fair dos with the sport badge though :)
lol - happens to me allll the time.
i think you should stick with the current wheels in all honesty, altho i'd probably have the centre caps done in anthracite or gunmetal.
Just to let everyone know i'm trying to organise a meet at longton pizza hut off the A50, if anyone wants to come who isnt a member post on here or pm me :)
