Fogs are H11. Inside the car iirc the boot light is a 36mm festoon, and the interior lights are 501's. Rest are SMD LED's (all the lights in behind the switches, instrument cluster etc)
Also just noticed on that guide, the cup headlight main beams are wrong, 99% sure they're H1.
When I first put my 172 wheels on my dci I found they rubbed on the rear beam with 205 tyres. 5mm spacers would sort that out though, or use 195 width tyres. Worth checking as you fit them, but as spinksy says they will fit fine and won't rub anywhere else unless the car is lowered a lot.
Well I know what I'm spending the rest of this months wages on... :o Had a few plays of AC with a pad and my old XB360 wheel. It's good, but not great, and annoying to set up and control. The G27 has been tempting me for a while now and that photo has swayed me lol. It's just so awesome with the...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Looking good. Nice job on the decat, makes the car so much more responsive!
I do 50 miles a day with my exhaust as a decatted straight through and tbh I don't notice it that much just cruising on the motorway mate. It's loud if you floor it but just cruising...
Guess I'll just need to try my luck and see if it works.
I had considered a cheap clip, the functionality of it would be handy, but at the same time I know I'm far too careless at times and would probably f**k something up at some point LOL
Brilliant, that's just what I'm after cheers mate. Had a bit of a fuel pump scare a while back too, cranking pressure would be an added bonus if it showed that.
Gonna get one ordered!
Hmm...might just give it a go and see lol. Can live with a dodgy plug, and would probably always use it through usb anyway.
Plus, I've not found anything that reads live fuel data on the dci's yet so having something to check for a dying pump or injector would be very handy!
Do you know if...
Should this work with all dci's? I once had a guy try and use a genuine Delphi tool on my car to check injectors, fuel flows etc and it just wouldn't connect with it for some reason. Don't want to spend £115 on something that won't work lol
Part number is 6000073518
G 172 on here does them if you're having trouble getting them though http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?712287-Renault-spacer-that-go-behind-rear-discs-on-Clio-172-182
Edit, looks like he just beat me to it! ;)
Swapped the wires over on the loom today, black with black and white with white, but the ABS light has come on. Anyone any ideas?
Also are faults ABS self clearing? Or will I need to get them cleared?
Cheers mate! I'll get a good look tomorrow and get everything off and sort it out hopefully!
Mick, I've got spacers too, but the non-sport disc setup has e-torx head bolts, not the usual countersunk bolts with nylocs on the other side, so I couldn't use the extended bolts with the spacers. I...
Ah okay, is the car useable with them the wrong way? I realise it's not exactly safe lol but I was meant to be going down to a relatives house for dinner an hour ago LOL, so if it's useable I'd just hold off removing the look until tomorrow
Cheers for all the help guys!
Nearly s**t myself when I read the price of those abs leads, meanwhile I'm just sitting throwing them around like they're nothing...whoops!
How can I tell what the right pins are? There's two white and two black wires. Do the colours correspond to a side or do...
Ahhh! I was just about to post and ask if that was possible! Is the plug at the front easy to get to? And is it just two plugs like at the back or is if a multiplug with different pins in it I need to swap?
Grazo, I've got the otherside off as well, it's a male connection going to the stub axle, so they're just complete opposites atm
I tried to get the abs sensors out the new stub axles and they just wouldn't budge so I wasn't sure if they even separated from the stub axle. Are they usually...
I'm in the middle of replacing half my rear brake setup and stub axles. Changing from non-sport DISC stub axles to 182 stub axles for the extra track width.
Anyway, after removing it all I've noticed that the plugs on the abs sensors where they plug in to the cables on the car don't match up...
It's definitely done using a RR. Although after a bit of googling I don't think it's likely to be a fully live map. Probably more chance of it being a generic map that's then customised slightly to suit the car using the RR
Ahh yeah, I somehow managed to forget that overfuelling and black smoke is exactly what running rich is. It's late...that's my excuse! :o
I don't mind a little bit of black smoke on hard acceleration, would prefer that to having the car running lean and overheating things. If it was smoking...
