is it the wierd little rectangular thing that is orange?
that should be the 'toxic fume monitoring warning light'
if it lights up permanently consult your renault dealer as soon as possible
as soon as it flashes reduce the engine speed until the light stops flashing.
i looked into some bonrath bonnet lifters, only problem is that i couldnt mount them into my bonnet (carbon) as you cant spot weld them on.
it is possible, but would be a pain in the arse. as said above, the problem would then be in closing the bonnet tho.
depends on which induction kit you've gone for.
open induction kits such as a 57i generation 1 will only really produce a nice noise, whereas something like a viper/itg maxogen should be better than a standard panel filter.
i'd spray it a nice satin black, not hard to do just make sure you do it in a warm place unlike me, who ended up with white patchy inserts, and ended up spraying em in plasticote instead of the nice pearl black they were meant to be :(
i thought the alarmed RS's had a red LED in the centre consol by the gear linkage. Mine (a 1.2 16v) only has a flash in the dashboard to show its immobilised
i've currently got a set of konis (off car adjustable) and find that when set to just a little of softest they're a perfect ride for me.
i can see the appeal of having adjustability, but i personally would never actually adjust it.
clearance should be fine, but depends on offset of wheels
yes will fit.
however you will have a small gap at the bottom of the arch as you look into it which is where the original arch liner doesnt fit properly.
i have fitted one and didnt bother with the arch liners as its pretty small, however if you want a perfect fit you'll need 172 arch liners.
awesome :) i knew a 172 cup one is a direct replacement, but just wondering if the cruise control meant it wouldnt fit.
i'll be off tomorrow to get it picked up :D
will a steering wheel from a full fat 182 fit and work when installed in my 1.2 (2003.)
obviously i know the functions such as cruise control and that wont work, but will it still fit and function :)
i was told around the 200 quid mark, which is why places like cliospares sell them for 100 (as they normally work a half price basis.)
best of trying to wait until one appears on here or ebay. i got mine for 60 doing it that way
its a renault its prob held together by 2 screws and some plastic clips! Seriously though it took me bout half an hour just to take the front bumper mouldings off, complete pain in the ar*e
if you look at the plate from upside down (so you read it the correct way) its the secondish row.
it'll be two letters, and then three numbers. mine for instance is NV676
Mark.
