Gonna need to get my cup spoiler painted when it arrives in the week & usally dont mind spraying little bits & bobs but would rather get it done by a pro, so any one know any where good in the area & how much i would be looking at to get my cup spoiler painted? James

Just had a look at mine, they look just like yours simon :dapprove: , f**k me what a b*****d they are to get too, the old 1.2 8v took less than 15 mins to remove the lot.. the 172 on the other hand... How much would these plugs set me back at halfords? since there £30 from ebay from the set i...

Just got a cup spoiler, well have payed for it & hope to see it next week! first things first, its off a silver 182, will this be the same silver as my 02 plate 172 which i belive is iceberg silver? or does the 182 come in another silver :dapprove: James

I'm 21 mate & its costing me £1800 fully comp.. they will rape you for insurance.. they know they have you by the bulls so they can charge what they like :dapprove: Try bell.co.uk though mate, there the best i could find...

My 172's done 52,000 miles, might be worth getting some, will have a look tomorrow & see what state there in :rolleyes:

Think it would look OK with the yellow wheels, likeing the 15's lol, if you wanna save even more weight get rid of the bulky cup spoiler & i will put cash in your hands;) & i have one of the mk2 ph1 ones, that could be a saving of 500grams :approve: ..

My tom tom died on the way to the windsor meet.... was not very helpfull.. think mine may be a soft ware problem though :dead:

Well sourced a clio badge, gotta remove it from my 1.2 as the 172 looks kak de-badged.. was not me.. previous owner.. so i have removed the boot lining but how do i get them dome heads through as i thought i could pinch them with pliers but dont wanna break it :dapprove:

Does any one know the part no. for the RENAULT badge on the left hand side of the boot lid on a 172 ph2 pls

Best mod you could do is buy a standard 172 spoiler then sell your cup one too me ;) ... gotta have a dream hey lol... dam things are so hard to get hold of now... gotta keep telling my self the air con & xenons worth it:) ..

So been doing alot of reading on the silenced decat... think it could be a very near future mod :evil: .. but! as i leave for work before 7am mon-fri & already have a power flow exhaust i didnt want to upset every one that lives on my road.. So the question how much louder will a silenced...

If no insurance you should ask the seller to take you some where off road such as a car park to have a test drive, not the best idea but if your spending £3-5 k you wanna make sure it all feels right, would never buy a car unless i had driven it, for all you know it may be pulling all over the place

When i bought my clio 172ff the previous owner had installed a full set of turini's, gotta say i think there the best looking alloys for the clio :cool: but unfortunatley my spare wheel is the original 16" 172 one, so lifted it out the boot to inspect & jesus that things gotta bit of weight in...
