Hi all, been a 1.2 clio owner for a year & a half now & really have had enough of not being able to just put my foot down & go!
So looks like 172 time is coming close as i have cash to spend ;) ,
So firstly what do you reckon my current clio is worth, heres a pic & the spec -...
First one thats been on my mind,
When using megs 83/80 combo can i lay something like EGP straight onto it or do i still have to put down a coat of SRP?
Also that megs cleanner wax stuff, can that have EGP put on it or will it not bond properly?
And finnaly if the weather ever givs into...
Hi all, once again the french shite has decided not to run as it should, while out yesterday the clio got a bit too warm for my likeing & has done this a few times before, so the usal wak the heater on & all is well.. so tonight i had a looky to see if the cooling fan kicks in but after running...

Hi all, after discussing cleanning cars at work.. as you do.. lol.. One of the other guys on site buts in & claims he's getting his beemer de-swirled & given a coating that should keep swirls away for at least 5 years through halfords valet team that he claims are from autoglym, he reckons this...

I cant under stand how a dealer that stocks cars that are £50k & upwards can allow such shuddy valeting.... gonna have to get a sign made to put in the drivers window - DO NOT SERVICE WASH.. unless you want me to run the g220 over your face... with the cutting pad on!
So after a few reads i'm feeling ready to tackle this monster sized black lexus just still havin a debat with pad polish combo, what do you guys think of this
* Car washed with 2 bucket method & grit gaurd
* Car clayed then washed again to remove clay lube
Then on to polishing/swirl...

So now the time has come to de-swirl my parents black lexus rx300, up till a couple of months ago it looked great, washed with 2 bucket, grit gaurd, 2 wash mitts etc...
Some stupid prick did my drivers door when i first got the car :mad:.. as you lot have said, 2 secs for a laugh = 3 days wages to fix it :( .. i'm not going to be able to sleep when i get a type r:eek:
Just been browsing the net for a new hose pipe & came across a so called flat hose which packs down on the reel, any one tried one? looks ideal for storage size only thing is i dont know if it would knot & fold all the time :S

Hi all, The last few weekends i've been washing the clio i've noticed that my front tyre tread is getting low :dapprove: thing is though when i had a good look today i noticed that there is about 2mm on the outside edge & around 3-4mm on the inside, I'm guessing this could be a tracking...
Nice one mate, so have they refunded the deliverey costs? You could blag it & tell them i needed them for a job last saturday & cough up some compensation ;)

£1500 is pretty good in that case then, more ideal if its something that you are doing every day ie full time job.. prob not so much for me as i plan to come to the persons house & etc.. they might have another option, will have to email them

Hi all, still waiting to get my hands on a megs g220:evil: but while talking about it at work i've had a few people asking me to do there car when i get one, now i'm by no means a pro with these, i've had a go with a mates & hope to give a few practice runs on a few low ££ cars before...
Used them yesterday, spoke to matt & sounds like a top man, although just seen a 7.5% discount on the banner above for cliosport members... do'h lol... how do i go about getting the discount as a g220 is on the list as soon as he's got them back in stock?:cool:
Hi guys, just been browseing the net for re-stock of goodies for the summer:approve: & came across this new stuff from autoglym around the £30 mark which is a so called super wax:S , any one on here ever used it? looks pretty good & with autoglym rep for price/quality i might give it a go as...
power steering pump could be shot, as when turning the pump is used & if it was seizing then it would just lock the belt up which is linked directly to the motor = stalling
Oh & another thing, if it can be fixed how can i remove the shite in the motor, the mayonase on the filler cap that is, would just an oil change do the job if the head can be fixed?
basically came back from my gf's early yesterday morning & driving along i notice the temp light come on.. lil bit further on it gets higher, at this point i started to worry as i was going along county roads & could not see my self parking on blind bends on natinal speed limit roads,so i wack...
My clio 1.2 is due an oil change in the next few weeks, now usally i'd throw the same stuff in that i had before but a friend had some castrol 5w30 full syn oil left in his garage when i did my last oil change so we through that in... now at just over 8,500 miles later on i've been looking at...
