ive got alpine type s coaxials as direct replacements, and would highly rate them. for the money (£35) i think theyre an excellent buy. its a bit of a shame you cant see them because they look cool with the titanium finish on the cone.

yeah same shape base on 182/dynamique but they both have the vinyl material one. he was ordering one off a v6 which he assured me had a spherical base? not sure what he was on about to be honest. ill have a stab at making one meself when i get some time :confused:

the answer to my own question would be a NO. the man in parts says he could order one from renault UK, but thinks its about £55 :o

quicksilver is a 1.4 8v i believe. not 100% positive on that tho

is the power lead running close to the alternator as it can pick up interference. other than that it could be a poor earth. im not really an ICE man meself :oops:

ive got a clio 2 and want to fit a black leather gear gaitor, i was just wondering if anybody knew if renault did them as standard spec on the 182/172 etc. and if i can get one from renault as i want it to be a direct replacement, without having to cut a universal one down (momo etc.)

ive got osram silverstars (h7) and previously (h4 in another car) and i have no complaints with either of them at all. both have a crisp white light, with noticeable increase in light output.

i went from having the billabong ones to momo ones. they are expensive but they are nice :) if you want some fairly cheaply then why not get some lockwood. i think theyre around 15-£20 depending on what design you get on them

i was going to just upgrade the components they normally use.. so it would be more expensive. however i feel it could be worth it as ill know exactly whats been used, and hopefully it should make the car run smoother

oh i see - so the best thing would be to give them a ring and then see what they say. i was going to do that anyway, but was just wondering what peoples opinions were on actually changing the oil / plugs etc.

its for its 18k first service, and its still got 18months to run on the warranty, and so if i do take my own parts i dont want to invalidate anything

seriously i had a really good go at twisting and pulling it off and it just wouldnt even budge. even when id cut one half clean off the other half still wouldnt budge off the metal post :confused:

i thought that the sensor located there was the light sensor, but i assumed the wiper sensor was that little square at the base of the windscreen in the middle. .... if not then what is it ??

cheers yeah. ive actually got a 2003 dynamique but dont want to go down the components route yet, and only bought these speakers as they were cheap on ebay :D as i thought theyd sound better than the non-existent sounding speakers that are there at the moment.
