Best road legal tire? Most will say R888's but depends what you want from a tire, R888's won't last long compared to road tyres.

You're right, coilovers aren't the be all and end all, but sticking harder springs on uprated dampers will result in them not matching up. Coilovers that are properly set up with adjustable damping will stop body roll, and give a really comfortable ride IMO

Stiffer springs will ruin the ride, you want to upgrade the dampers as well, that'll help stiffen up body roll. i.e. coilovers.

Doubt it'll make any difference performance wise. If you look down the centre of a catalytic converter, you can see why a decat will give you gains. Removing a scilencer will just give you more noise.
