by the sounds of it you have a clutch problem, get a private road, when at a standstill put the car in 4th gear, and try to pull away quickly with about 3500 rpm, if it stalls right away your clutch 'should' be fine, if the revs hoot up, or take a while to drop down, then...

On the side of the tyre will be a manufacture date, so if it was made in jan 09 you will see a date mark with a line round and the numberas 0109
check the date and see when the tyres were made
right its the bonnet sensor mate, the constant beep is to tell you something is open, a door, the bonnet etc, so as you have desturbed only the bonnet switch the problem will be with that, try disconecting it as cleaning the contacts
