cor thats a short manifold!
And is that a diff rad at the bottom?
cant really see much, but must be nice.
The Chdil kit is direct to head, and should work fine, but i dont personally like it really.
They also do mudular throttle bodies, which are just as good, but look horrid! lol
Sorry to disagree, but where did you get all this mate?
The cup is only what, 80kg lighter, not a massive amount and not enough to make it sit any higer on the same springs, that roughly 20kg less on each spring, so....maybe a 1mm diff max.
and 3 deg fo camber!!! are you crazy! your car...
they are not linear, they are rising rate regulators which work of manifold pressure differential. They have an adj base line pressure and they havea large diaphram to respond better to vacuum changes.
no, you clean it and you HAVE to use some retention oil, on foam AND gauze type filter. THe foam and gauze hold the oil, and the oil catches the dirt, simple.
huh?
you have water in your plug wells......water doesnt circulate that high up in the head. Can you see the crack?
A new head will be fine, the clio engines make no more power and a willy conversion will take time to find one and expensive.
A gasflowed head and a set of cams will give...
a balanced RWD chassis the V6 is not! lol
and people are getting rather picky with their opinions when tuning! i want this, but not this, i dont want to have to do this or that, dont want it to cost this.....etc etc....
you do the best you can people, and make do with what works, you could...
Before you get thinking, they are NOT i repeat NOT forced induction, there is NO positive pressure at all....NONE.
Dont fall into that trap, the benefit is that they are totally SEALED kits which only take air from the location you place the inlet.
hate that annoying music though!!!!
Mark, you had the benefit of fabricating your own mounts and positioning in the mini though, and there is bags of room in a clubman, normal saloon is another thing and most kits require you to either extend the front of have an air filter poking out.
And...
problem is your XE motor is highly popular in kit cars, vauxes and even in ford conversions........its been done so many times and there are loads of companies that pecialise in that engine, so parts and kits are readily available. But like ive said before, the F7 engine isnt used in that many...
