Looks great Gaz. Personally - I'd feck the silver alloys off for good and leave these ones on!
Get a boot spoiler on it as well.
Please - will ANY 197 owner on here try to do that Clio's booty-ass some justice and make it look tidy? ;)

You'll pulled into the Shell garage and then spotted you again later going past us all parked up.
Had a Renault Sport visor strip on it too.
Just needs the optional boot spoiler now.
Anyone?

That sums up the utter bollox that car insurance is - being so heavily biased on postcode.
Best stop now before I get on my soap-box. I was 'ranked' 120 out of 121 on here as well. 'All' 'tar' and 'brush' seems to spring to mind.

No m8, it's on Ady's thread in the trader section. I had a butchers (comes in various colours - and I nabbed the anthracite one) - PM'd Ady - he PM'd me back. Order late Monday and was here waiting when I got back from work.
Result. :star:

Having taken up Ady's offer on the thread http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=358282 - I walked around my car a good half-dozen times thinking where to place it!
Settled on the nearside front. Not unique by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm happy with it there. Tried taking a...
I had my instrument panel replaced in late Novemebr last year. The issue wasn't cruise control related - but with the ESP system. You couldn't tell if it was on or off.
Naturally, the mileage went back to zero and I got paperwork from Reno Manchester to say what work had been done - complete...
Good write-up there. I've still yet to drive a 197, but purely in the looks dept., I still prefer the Mk.2. And when I look at the pics of cars like Middo's I can't think for the life of me how they can look 'shite' as Michael says.
The 197 Cup with the extra spoiler looks the tits. But I...
Definitely one of THE best Clios on here.
Looks perfect. Almost like you could eat it. Like a slice of lemon cheesecake. Mmmmm..... cheesecake.

Similar to me, m8. I phoned Reno for an inlet gasket the other week and when I gave them my reg. no, they said I had the outstanding bonnet recall on it too. Mine's a '54 plate 182, for the record.
I've had no letter or phone call discussing the recall - only what I've heard and read about on...
Doubt he'll get that back. A m8 at work had his red DC2 stolen in pretty much the same circumstances. Had it up for sale, test pilot comes along - knife to thoat - car long gone.
He never did hear anything of the car again. :(
Really feel for the guy with the DC5. Poor sod.
D.
Good effort if he manages it though.
No doubt some 45-year-old, still shacked-up with mummy in the foothills of Montana is reaching for his credit-card as we speak...

Cheers for the feedback guys. :)
Danny, I take it that the drain should obviously be pointing down then? Best make sure of that in the morning - lol.

Well, today was the culmination of a few issues building up over the last two weeks with the 182.

How the hell have you got £1,800 insurance on a 172, in London and only 18?? I was still getting quotes higher than that back then for a bloody Punto 60S!
You must be in one hell of a leafy postcode!

The Silvatecs that I got from Halfords are still going strong and I must have had them in about two years now.
Not cheap when I bought them (£14.99 a pair) but at least they've lasted. Just go to a Halfords that has a chav Ripspeed section and they are normally in the glass cabinets there.
