Thanks mate, did you get your flywheel? This EC1 is the exact one bomber had on his car, same injectors etc... I know I need to blank off the VDO as far as bomber did, really need to speak to Matt and get the EC1 software

Braking in a corner isn't dangerous, slamming brakes on round a corner is dangerous, but your ABS wouldn't let you do it anyway!

So, got the EC1 all fitted but having had a few problems Bombers thread solved some. The car will now start but it's pumping a lot of fuel through and won't idle. I changed the CTS wires around and that didn't solve it. I've got the standard MAP sensor in which Bomber didn't and I've also got...

Well it's the same pump that does the lights so it should whirr if the light ones are working ;) I'd try getting a multimeter in the plug and seeing if it reads 12v when you pull the stalk, if it does then its the pump

Then in won't fit your inlet manifold as you'll need one with a hole in. Just leave it, no harm in it.

And K-Tec are always more than most dealers!

It is the same pump that does both yes. Checked for blockages? Can you here it whirring when you pull the stalk?

Autodata is wrong I believe. We're only looking out for you as we've been here a while and seen it happen countless number of times!

You used this tool? Just worried as if not correct you could potentially knacker your engine. These aren't any normal 16v cambelt job.
