mine's the only one i know of with sm to break 200bhp, with cams closer to 210bhp BUT it's miles behind a boosted one on torque, might only be 10-20bhp behind but a good 50-60lb/ft torque. still fun though when you kick it's head in:smile::smile::smile:

99% alternator is probably shot, aux belt and tensioner need changing for sure.

trw is solid mounted that's why they only list for smi.

If you get something half decent you should be OK. If anyone suggests torque or whatever the stupid thing is don't bother, it's vague to say the least. Autel do one for about £130 that is good all rounder, will get model later for you. Will do airbags, abs etc as well.

The Piper on my 182 was quieter and less droning with decat than with the Piper cat.

th one i had in caight me by surprise to be fair, i was pretty certain it was crank sensor before it came in.

half decent reader will show you what you need to know, pre cat lambda and fuel trims. the lambda can be iffy and not throw a fault code though hence looking at live data.

not worth doing with the pump then.

had a phase 1 do very similar things, turned out to be lambda. think it was just being a bit slow switching but not sure as was a while ago. see what it's doing on live data.

what does imobiliser light do? does it crank as normal or faster?

injectors pulsing? fuel in the rail doesn't mean much really. pump primes when ignition is switched on.

there will be a code stored, snap on are a bit hit and miss to be fair.

how do you know you have fuel and spark? how quick or slow does it crank? when were belts last done?

if on eml then first port of call crank sensor.
