Cheers Mike - much appreciated.
Another effect it does is rapidly flicker the 'black' sections - almost like on and off. Only does it at certain times - but it's really off-putting, legging it after your team who are flashing on and off! ;)

M8 - there's one such car in existance - and it's Rich's.
Asking for a black gold 182 without marks on the bodywork is more likely than winning the Lottery...................three weeks in the row.
My car has less scratches on it now than when I picked it up new with 6 miles on the clock...
Stop being a skin-flint, Chris. Did you see those audio cables from Nordic Odin (sp?) is yesterday's Mail on Sunday? They only charge £12,000 per metre - and then £7,000 for every metre after that.
I'm sure they would do a similar bargain on their HDMI range. ;)

I try hard....... like really hard not to delve into the pointless ramblings of manufacturer FAQs on websites. They are usually full of the most pointless and irrelevant questions, that it makes you wonder what amoeba thought them up in the first place.
I'm therefore, pleased to announce that...
Just downloading the latest driver now - cheers guys.
Interestingly, it says it's the recommended driver for Crysis as well. So far, that's been a-ok for me.

Calling all PC techies - any idea what could be causing the blackness in the pic attached? On some levels of COD4 it looked really bad - like I was playing in monochrome. :(
Neither my other two current games of Crysis or Gears of War suffer from it. Neither did the COD4 demo, strangely...
Here, here! :)
And that old PC still has some use. I've got a similar spec one at home - AMD3200+, 9800 Pro, 1GB PC3200, etc. I use it for all the trivial crap that I don't want on my main PC - like connecting the printer to it, iTunes, Nero, torrents, etc.
Works perfectly for all those little...
Liquid seems to have much more presence on a Vee, than a 182. A great colour on either car, but a 182 is 'wow!' whereas a V6 in that colour is 'WOW!' :)

Trust me - I'm the Lord of Fecking Things Up when it comes to cleaning cars - my own black gold included!
My own limited knowledge and complete newbie approach to it, left horrendous marks in my bonnet. Scarily bad ones - I'm sure you'll be able to dig up a few pictures on this forum of my...
That's what I was hoping for - but it doesn't. I'm wondering if Canon are talking crap and that this camcorder is of such low spec, that it can't transfer video?
It comes bunbled with allsorts of useless sh1te like Windows Messenger plug-ins but nothing of substance like a video editing suite.

If you over-write them with hacked firmware - then yes, most definitely they are worth it.
We can't talk about such things like that on here, though. ;)

I'm really new to any of this, but have borrowed a Canon MV630i analogue camcorder and want to offload the video to my PC.
I've connected a 4 to 6 pin Firewire-400 cable to it and tried allsorts of options on the camera - but the PC just doesn't pickup on the feed coming to it. I've tried the...
It's got me thinking this. I've made no change to where (or how) I drive in the past month, but I changed the ITG filter back to a virtually new filter the other week.
Typical MPG now has dropped from a midge's under 35 to 33.4. Tiny numbers in their own right, but I fill up once and week and...
I've been blipping the throttle for years - ever since my dad went on the IAM course and mentioned it to me. I don't think I was old enough to even drive back then, but I started to practice it early on.
IMO, there's nothing better on sweeping roads that to go from 4th to 3rd and with a quick...
Well recommended, Si. I had my 36k service done there the other month and with you being in West Yorkshire, they are even closer to you.
I've always changed the oil and filter at 6k mile intervals on my car since new. However, for the main service intervals, I've always taken it to a...
Me personally, m8 - I would never put something like that in my car. It's just too damn tempting for the scroats out there. What came with the Clio is good enough for me.
I've learnt from sh1theads in the past of the price you pay for having decent kit fitted in your dash. Knackered door...
I love spoilers on the butts of cars.
The Evo and Scooby ones look superb. The one on the Escort Cossie gave me the horn. But the Trophy spoiler on a Vee just looks bloody stupid.
It looks like a Halfords reject, put on badly and then allowed to slip and set at a daft angle.
Truly awful.
