ah good cant fault nicks work mate!
iv replaced two so far,i got the dogbone off nick (a modded one which is well nice) and the o/s top one that bolts to the inner wing-this can only be bought from renault ans i managed to get it for 53 quid with my trade discount,only got the box/battery tray...

i saw that audi go off at quarry,he must have been some sort of jedi to catch it as he did and carry on lol
i woudnt worry if u dont have one guys,i mean vw's are supposed to have them but the amount we see that dont is unreal,the threat of something flicking up is there yeah,but most cars up to the late 90's came without them so i wouldnt be losing any sleep over it
i think cables better,all the vw's i driva at work now have fbw and god its so annoying,i mean a new r32 is supposed to be good to drive but i hate flooring the throttle and not feeling it 'do' anything if that makes sense?
whats the revs dropping and rising too mate?
mine was revving itself between 1000-3000 rpm then holding at 3k
turns out i needed a new idle control valve

i work for vw mate so bit of advise,if having to press the unlock fob twice to unlock all doors get on ur nerves (it does mine whenever i have to drive a car at work grrrr) when ur in for your next service etc ask them to set it up to normal locking,as thry can plug the comp in and change it so...
