actually its probably because most have viscous fans,which run all the time,and will spin up with engine revs and vairing temps

iirc the dvla with issue with a reg that is around your old one,i dont think they will replace with the original

that sounds exactly like the belt is slipping slightly mate,and causing the screeching,as the engine has only just gonne in,the belt might need tighnening up so id check that fiest,because im 99% sure its just a sreeching belt

the problem is as a supercharger runs off a belt,there is very little room in the engine bay,i cant see how one would fit

lol luckly i had it done @ work matey,its nice to know there isnt anything wrong with her,and after driving it my mastertech he would have thought it had 60k on it rather than 106k :)

well had it mot'd today at work and she passed with no advisories!!! had the guys have a really good check over to see if there is anything that might be looking iffy,but my mastertech who mot'd said everything looks great so im happy :D
