the 1.4 supercharged and turbo'd golf gt with 170 ps
and
the 2.0 tdi gt with 170 ps
now speed wise the tdi makes its power faster,put ur foot down and bang the power is there,the petrol is good,but even on feathering the...
i cant because there is no room undeneath to hold the nut matey,there is barely enough room to get the spanner on the bottom nut,so if u did get the bottom nut off,u cant get ur fingers in to put the nut back onto the bottom of the stud
im taking a battery powered zip gun home tonight so...

yes the bottom nut will come off but u wont get it bk on,there is just enough space to get an open ended spanner on it,oh word of warning u will need an open ended 18mm spanner to do the bottom nut and a 18mm socket to grip the top
the guys at work suggest using a zip...
good ideas guys but u cant put another nut on the bottom of the stud,iv tried gripping the stud but it looks like it will damage the threads?
any of the pro's have an idea?
u can get a spanner on the bottom,but as soon as pressure is applied on the nut on top,the nut on the bottom undoes again?!
i cant stop the bolt itself from moving
right iv figured out the bolt has a nut top and bottom,so when i hold the top nut,the bottom one undoes,but when i hold the bottom one the top one wont undoo,it just makes the bottom nut move! how do i hold the bolt still to undoo the top nut??
tried both mate,iv read posts saying its really easy,but iv tried finding the botom of the bolt that runs through the mount,but if i hold it it doesnt make any difference?!

i dont really tend to believe my dash comp,but i can happily do nearly 90 miles to a tenner in the 172 if driven sensibly,and im showing 36.7mpg on the dash so that seems about right
iv not been doing much with her through this bad weather and when i got up this morning i gave her the 1st proper wash and polish in a good 6 weeks
brought a smile to my face :D
