yup, sounds like a cable/fork problem. youll have to get a mate to push teh clutch whilst you listen about.

Expensive, depends. If its only a linkage prob, no. If it is the release bearing then the part is cheap, but if you cant do it yourself, you looking at a large labour bill. I still think its got something to do with the release fork so far.

does it only happen when you push it down or is it a constant noise as you hold the clutch down?

If ti was a thrust bearing, even when misaligned they can usually live a fairly normal service life. But i dont think this is the prob.

thats what i waas thinking, but its not making any noise when engaged. If the bearings gone it usualy goes quiet when you press the clutch in.

They sell a silcened cat......by coencidence. ;) Which i might end up getting as my OMP system has 1 silencer too. There are plently of silencers you can get from DT.

Go to the source manufacturer. Alternatively, look at the turbo F4R unit and see if the bore/rod bigend cat mate to your crank, you can get away with some machining of the bores if they are larger.
