not so much compliance but when you look at setting bike suspension up the first thing you need to do is set the preload, if you can't do that then you can't set up properly. for the price they are a great bit of kit and if you find them to soft all you've got to do is buy new springs.

i am a garage, just not on here as a trader. things can break at any time though and unfortunately there is no real way you can prove who, if anyone, left a bolt on the engine.
unlikely but not impossible though.
any half decent diagnostic should show you what's wrong. generic obd readers won't though.
clip would be best but stuff like snap on, delphi, autologic and the other one i can never remember the name of!!
