being able to breathe doesn't make much difference when an engine is warming up, the pic i posted is from a perfectly healthy engine with no breathing problems.
think i can safely say we know what you need it to do, just a shame whoever is 'mapping' the car can't do it though, not exactly what you would call confidence inspiring in them though.
2-3 it could just be you beating the synchros, could be wear to the synchro or dog teeth on the gear itself.
4-5 my money would be on low oil and the plastic wearing down or worn off the selector fork. drive along in 5th, pop it in to neutral for a sec, let the clutch up, dip clutch and pop it...
i've got an idea on how to fix it without stripping, not tried it yet but will be giving it a go over the next few weeks when i get a bit of spare time...could end up as a complete disaster though but worth a try.
