Too true. They wouldn't want their performance flagship (especially now that the Meggy 230 has come 2nd in ECOTY '06) being upstaged by a more powerful, quicker and smaller sibling.
As others have said though, I just wouldn't spend the kind of money required to make a turbo'd 197 a decent car...
Aye - proper letting the side down! Even Jain got up early this morning (in freezing weather) to clean her Vee for the Lakes meet. I could have washed mine yesterday, but then again, I was just being a lazy arse. ;)

Good way to reduce childhood obesity - get the little fat b******s to do a bit of exercise.
All they need to do now is "Wii Marine Boot Camp" and get them really working up a sweat. ;)

I'm getting sick of the number of black gold 182s turning up at meets. I mean, they are just everywhere..... ;)
Gaz, you should have come along m8. We could have sat in Nostalgia Corner and reminisced about our Punto GTT's! ;)

"Get SERIOUSLY noticed for not a tremendous amount of money!!!! £8,990."
Noticed, maybe. Laughed at? Certainly. It looks like a bodywork job that's been done with a £100 voucher from Halfords.
The biggest problem I see with it, is that it looks to be a 1.2 trying to be something much more...
I would do m8 - but it doesn't like XP64 and I can't be arsed to find the solution on the net! ;). Good time that though brad - we'll have to see what Ben 'Opposite Lock Meister' R can pull out of the bag!

I didn't mean RIS specifically. I was referring to Lee's comment about the issue he was having with the image. Using images full stop, is something I try to avoid....;)

You would have thought so, wouldn't you? Here's the update list on the latest BIOS though...
M2N32-SLI Deluxe BIOS 0706
Fixed Linux compatibility issue
Update Silicon 3132 ROM to 7313
Update NV Lan...
Lee - is the XP installation 64-bit or 32-bit? That same mobo at home drags it feet royally, on XP64 - and that's on a clean installation. Never had that issue on XP32 with it. This example you mention is the sole reason why I hate using images and much, much prefer doing a clean install.
Also...
Sods Law it will be one of the others then! :) Everytime - the 172 has carried on up Wash Lane as I've turned up Willow Street. The xenons are always on - come rain or shine, too! ;)

Jones - has that been you a couple of times behind me at the lights near the Seven Stars pub, m8? I've seen a silver 172 there about three times now, on the way home from work.

Would be worth trying this, Maz. I've had issues with AT every now and then. Do you have other sites that have image problems? And also do what MrAtego says - use Firefox instead!

Welcome to CS, Scoop.... ;)
I guess the level of modding will come down to how deep your pockets are! Clearly, you won't get the kind of gains per £ as you would with the Evo. From what I can gather, anything above 195-200bhp will involve serious wedge...

Yep - officially, you're supposed to despose of them properly. The local tip may charge you if you take several PCs in one go. That's if you get a job's-worth there on the day though. At work, we pay to have them taken away. A pain in the ass, but I can see the bigger picture, as to why...
Good choice Debz - they worked brilliantly on my Punto GTT. Much harder wearing and more grip than the factory-fit Pirellis.
Davey - from what you've said, it definitely sounds quite worrying m8 - especially the brakes getting mad hot went you pulled up. Could it be a binding caliper or...
