Are we having bets on when Bill Gates's design bods, suddenly start to develop Wii-type accessories for the 360?
Microsoft never let a big-selling idea pass them by. As a few others have said, the combination of 360 games with the Wii controllers sounds to be a good one.
Personally, I don't...
Just a bit stuck on where to go from here.....
I can't jump the gap (instant death) and the only other place I've seen to move 'forward' is a missing roof-tile and the cavitiy section above. It seems a little high to jump up, so I assume I have to find some way of getting up there?
There...
If they keep the playability of Generals in this one, then it should be a corker. I still don't think any RTS game has surpassed General's (and especially the Zero Hour addon) gameplay. Sure, better graphics and sound have arrived in several other titles, but the playability of C&CGZH is top...
What do you think of it, Neb? Better than BF2? I've barely just started 2142 online, but what I've seen so far - I like. Not sure if the reduction in the number of character classes was a good idea. Some of the number of unlocks on kits seems a bit daft - almost like a one-man army.... ;)
Looks...
I'm being deadly serious. And I've never had a virus/trojan/spyware/dialler etc since November 1992 when I got my first PC. Apart from the one that I put on myself from an infected gfx driver file.
Every single day, I hear of people at work that "...... blah, blah, I've got this on my PC at...
It's still the looks that kill it for me. Just looks so, so bland. Not understated. Just boring. :(
And is it me, or do the 197 shots in things like Evo magazine look Photoshopped? To me, it looks a hell of a lot lower than they do in the flesh. Most 197s I've seen look like they could...
I'll back you on that. Reformatting often - for whatever reason, is always a good thing to do. Work environments are different, but the longest time I've ever left my home PC without a reformat is 6 months. It takes 45mins to get the O/S up and running and then a further 90mins or so to...
Same here - I thinking they are cracking cars. My 'problem' with them is when you're having a play with one and the old fart driving the CTR nearly removes the front of your Clio by not sticking to his lane at a roundabout. GIMP. :quiet: ;)

We still use our Epson A3 inkjet for a few things on the Mac, but the main stuff is handled by a Konica-Minolta colour laser. Works great with the Mac and the ultra-fussy Macboys haven't had cause for complaint....... yet. Don't think it was cheap though - around £7k, iirc.
We also use a Canon...
All depends on what level of usage you have with Office. If you just do the basic document/spreadsheet type of thing, then it isn't worth it. However, Outlook 2003 is open on my PC throughout the day and the differences in this version compared to 2000 or XP are quite significant.

Too right, Clellandmc. Staff? Being able to install what they want?
I think within an hour, we'd have less carnage with a bunch of ASBO laden yoofs, high on smack and given the keys to several Scoobies. ;)

So if you had a Ferrari 430 and a Focus 1.6, you'd still use the 430 to take sh1t to the tip in? Or take it to the local scally chippy where it would be primed for some abuse?
Personally, I'd reserve the 430 for my favourite A-roads and posing like a bell-end when I wanted to. For the other...
Best thing to do Tim (imo) would be to keep it as a workhorse PC. Use it for downloads, CD/DVD burning, i-Tunes, and printer connections, etc - and leave your new 'beast' as pure as you can for the job you want it to do.
My main doesn't have any of that crap on it. I reserve all boring duties...
Imo m8, 90%+ of software like that is totally turd. A complete waste of HDD space, memory and CPU time. I'm talking purely from a home-user point of view here. I am also entirely convinced that half of this crap invites more crap onto your PC that it's supposed to protect against.
Quite a lot...
I'm not saying that you would do it, but is it any wonder people drive without insurance these days? The above quote is just taking the p1ss. That would be what I would expect for someone of his age on a 172 or 182 - not a bloody 1.2 for god's sake. :quiet:

LOL! - good story there m8! Looks like you and that car were destined to be together, eh?!
Well done - I can imagine how chuffed you'll be after your first drive tomorrow! :approve:
