personally i would rather stick with them mounted to the rear iso mount points and i hate low mounted harnesses, probably just psychological but wouldn't feel comfortable with them on just a bar? rear strut brace is waste of money unless you go full coilovers, even then doesn't do much.

zoom in, bottom left, has missed almost half of the plate with the weld.

the welding looks like it's missed the bottom of the plate completely in that pic!! just cage it, can be a pain in the arse if you weld a bar in then have to chop it out if it's in the way of the cage. as you know a welder fabricage do some good weld in cages, well worth a phone call.

you can get paint on stuff as well. give me a shout if you want some, will be getting some over the next couple of weeks as mine will be going as track car sooner than planned.

think it would go into left handers well but struggle other than that. rear quarter has popped out a bit but fingers crossed shouldn't be that bad to repair although haven't looked underneath yet.

was dropping my lad off at the pub in liverpool. had been stopped at the side of the road for few seconds and next thing big bang!! not looked underneath but rear beam has gone and bottom edge of rear quarter as well, sounds like the guy saw us and swerved at last minute so could of been worse...

aren't all whiplash claims genuine?? just two, i was leaning forward, no seat belt and twisted to the left so ended up chest against the steering wheel, knee into lower dash and face planted the screen, wife was just un clipping her seat belt so ended up side on against the dash and my lad was...

i run them and for the price they are a great pad.

i personally wouldn't trust rs tuner as a diagnostic as far as i could throw it, had two phase 1's in, both with management lights on, tried rs tuner on them and said no faults on both cars!!

stu, trust me that car doesn't need anything doing to it set up wise.

get a 21mm nut, turn it on it's side and slip it in the lower part of the hanger then fill it all in with windscreen sealant etc...

will be an injector, measure resistance, should be 15 ohms.

seen it loads of times, not as common on small stuff though.

think i said trapped lead as one of the possibilities?

yup, had a few that sound a bit odd, even with twin back boxes.

yup, think i said on one of your other posts that a lot of it could be down to exhaust pulses.
