The operator told the fire wrong place, police only came to ask if I'd been driving fast round town, which I hadn't, was well out of town!

Well what an eventful night I had last night! Some sound deadening came loose off of the back of the engine bay and parted onto the manifold. Car filled with smoke so went straight to a garage with hope of a fire extinguisher! Was there one? NO! So after opening bonnet and seeing a small flame...
All brake fluid from car has gone, new master cylinder is going on, possibly new lines too. I've heard its a bit difficult to get the fluid back into the ABS system?

It IS your throttle body! It doesn't return properly due to the spring! If you get out of the car and open the bonnet when its idling high, you will be able to move the plastic wheel back about a millimetre, this will stop the high idling then! I'm buying a...

Its only four bolts. And by the way the joins are there isn't much wiggling around to get it right, it kind of just sits where sits bolted!
