I like what you have done with the rear mount, i shall be doing this today aswell, the stealth is just a little too shakey.

I have just bought and fitted the stealth system and it sounds fantastic. It really isnt that loud below 4-5k rpm tbh I Do enjoy the sound of it at full chat though, power delivery seems more fluent and the idle seems to have calmed down, might just be me though :o

That black clio needs lowered by about a foot

An absolutle must mate, its better to have the belt change even if it isnt anywhere near the mileage limitation! Think of the cambelt like an elastic band wrapped round a cup and left outside all year, its open to the elements and can become brittle and break. It could very well last another...

Got this sorted now, had to buy a rear exhaust mount from Renault @ £21 no less. An absolute pain in the arse trying to get the old bolts off, it literally takes 2 minutes to swap the mounts over, it seems the violent rattling has gone away (for now) Now it just goes > Bwaaaa, Bwaaaaaa, ba...

A racoon with an angle grinder and an attitide problem lol Just messing mate, if theres more than 3-4mm on the pads they should be fine, the edge of the disc shouldnt have a lip on it (i.e a raised edge round the sides of the disc)

You have to admit that £300 for doing just front springs is a little excessive, it really isnt a big job mate. Dont let the grease on there hands suggest to you there hard pushed ;)

Isnt there some sort of myth surrounding the rear discs in the 1*2's about being quite new yet the pads are quite low as new anyway? Anyone shed any light?

This said though, the standard 280mm discs are very good, ive never driven with the brembos but assume there good from what ive heard:o

lol, i didnt realise dennis the menace worked for Renault! I took my first clio to renault and they almost managed to diagnose a faulty spark plug as slipped timing...! Think ill stick to buying the parts for 25% of the price Renault sell them and do it myself:o
