because the ctr shassy is cack. the clio, even with a ctr engine is lighter, therefore faster than a ctr. the ctr engine is FAR more tuneable. 3 very good reasons to do it. oh and its never been done, which is another good reason in my book

the 1.6 16v is capable of 220+ bhp. i think kevO is after a larger throttle body. unless u intend doing a lot of wotk 2 it, i'd say its not worth it.

looks like the bend has been cut off, my decat is very similar, except that where you have something cut off, mine bends round and up to fit to the manifold, and has the lambda hole. If that one is gonna be no good to you, i've got one that'll fit!
