easiest way to tell if any part of the exhaust has ever been changed is to get down and have a look underneath, look for exhaust clamps etc. if there are any, then the exhaust has been changed at some point, as i said its probably a 'standard' replacement, but might be someone like kwik fits...
has any part of it ever been changed? my mate had a 'standard' replacement exhaust put on his punto, it was one of the kwik fit stainless steel longlife jobbies, did give his a bit of a deeper sound. not sure if it would ever pop, he didnt drive it hard enough
