Buy the v6.
I've never been one to just go and buy big things, lots of research etc normally, but I just went out and bought the zed. Can't say I regret it one bit.
Took a grad loan from the bank (good rates) and put some cash towards it.
If I lost my job tomorrow I could sell the car...
FFS Meg.
If you're going to organise something, organise it.
If you're going to cancel it, cancel it.
Don't just leave people standing there like a lemon. I realise you weren't attending, but it's effectively "your meet" so a little bit of effort on your end would be appropriate.
Sorry about...
That 10k was me and another car, I'm pretty sure there's no way to decipher between the two costs, also it's the cost to your insurer, right?
I have nothing to do with his insurance company and they don't offer me any information, so surely I cannot find out?
The 50% increase was down as...
It's down as £0 mate.
The cost was 0 to my insurer, and I have no way of finding out the costs, it was only through "channels" that I found out how much.
Makes me proper sick TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if the boy who hit mine tried to claim off of his own insurance for whiplash!
Total cost to him for hitting two cars was just shy of 10k though I believe. I wouldn't want his insurance next year!
I wasn't even driving mine, that's what really gets my goat.
Parked in a sensible place, not in the car. Apparently this should raise my premium by 50%??!? WTF!
It's almost made me want to sell it before I have to re-new. I was happy with the insurance being as low as it was, and it was...
A lot of people say this, but....
I bought the car, 1 week later some dick crashes into it whilst it's parked
I do a second insurance quote 1 week later, as if I had the exact accident that had happened 51 weeks ago and it was 50% more expensive.
I don't have protected no claims no, but it wasn't my claim.
Due to the car being parked it was 100% not my fault so I had no excess to pay and my insurance just dealt with it all.
The FIFTY PERCENT increase came from "have you had any accidents in the last 5 years", to which I had to...
Been machined polished? Still look a little dull, certainly not deep, but that could be your camera skills... :rasp:
Get those wheels/tyres done and the outside will look lovely!
Re: Titanium Ph1 172
Got the dash all in, wired up and working?
Good work if so :)
Worst pictures ever so far though, get out there and take some decent ones!
It's not really delicate electrics.
A few on here have done some mint installs with just a decent drill, some buttons and some wiring with heatshrink etc.
If you search you'll find it, was a sabelt wheel iirc.
Right, I've read the thing. Bloody good advert, a few bits I'd change myself but that's just personal preference.
I've just looked across pistonheads etc, why have you got it up so cheap??
Kev, the images need re-sizing before uploading. This should minimise the crap quality.
(Check my project thread for my last two zed photos, from iphone, to pc (resized) then emailed to phone and uploaded via photobucket phone app)
Want to email me them in full size, I'll reduce them all in...
Saturday morning/early afternoon I'm free as a bird. That's not a bad shout on JD coming down, awesome place for detailing minus the dusty drive out!
JD?
So Saturday, copper grease back of brake pads, fit rear braided hoses and bleed brakes? I gave the pads and discs all round a look and...
I've got a hose in the back garden that I run through the house (the joys of living with no parents, get away with murder)
Feel free to come to me, there's a few decent enough roads within reach, we can have a bit of a blast whenever you're free.
I don't really do booking things up (too...
