Get that rear bumper sorted whilst the spoiler's in being painted! Car's looking great, how many centre caps you got missing? Never see a ph1 with a full set lately!
Cheers mate, the more pictures I see with the CSL's, the more I want them. For now I do love how fresh it looks.
£40? No hope!!!
What's the difference really?
I've got some pics in my project thread tyler, just waiting on my centre caps.
You've said above no centre caps, but can't he just paint them in the same colour? I spoke to him about this at the weekend?
I'd have it in a heart beat if it were W34PON
All reg plate ideas are welcome.. I actually really want one.
Rob, or Strode or anything.
ST12ODE is available for a new vehicle, that's my god damn plate!!!!!!
Cheers Kev. The z4 certainly looks a lot more up to date, and apart from the plate this car really doesn't look its age anymore!
I even got some reflections in my pictures, though of you and your polishing ways! :o
iPhone photos FTW. I'm no photographer.. I just crop in PS in an attempt to make anything look half decent. I must say they really don't do it justice.
Silver is my favourite car colour (can you tell?) IMO it makes cars look newer!
IRL it does look better, you'll see.
Maybe, if I'm bored...
I know nothing about bikes but I f**king love the look of that. The suspension sounds awesome too, very future tech like.
Still want a ninja one day. I grew up loving them as a kid so that's the only bike I ever really see and think "ooohhhh"
Tell me about it, the paint work's great, the front bumper could do with a re-paint, which may come in a month or two, but that's about it. Overall it's bloody excellent for age/mileage!
Why's that? Fancy polishing it? ;)
Cuts deep dude... I personally love it, think it looks pretty...
Cheers mate, I'm still not entirely sold, but I think this is mainly because I've always wanted CSL wheels on something!
I could get 18's and retain my current ride heigh but I feel that copping out a bit?
Apparently, 19's don't look so bad on mine, because of the SE spec it has the...
You're totally right. The only thing that tells you this car is 9 years old is the plate. I've been looking into it actually. If you see any good "Rob" ones about, lemme know.
I'm going for ebay specials mate, they're about a tenner or so. I see no point in getting actual BMW ones as they...
Sorry for another favour thread, but this one would really help me out.
I could really do with something picked up from leatherhead tomorrow morning ish and it ending up anywhere just over the dartford bridge?
Thanks.
Take some pictures of the balljoint and fitting etc?
Are the bolts 12mm yes??? Not 10mm.
What did you do exactly to fit the balljoint?? i.e give me a quick process.
I bet you've got m10 bolts, or not done the pinch bolt up tight enough?
But he's "finished" it on various other occasions right? It's not like it's never been to a good standard and he's been waiting on making it great forever.
I do understand, but it's a lot of money to have tied up in something he clearly doesn't love any more.
You're all wrong.
Get rid mate. Put it all back together, sell the wheels to someone who'll make the most of them, and sell it as a rolling shell or pop the engine in and sell as a running track project.
You sound like you've lost the love, and TBH with how much things slowed down, I get...
But can't he just get a new set where the bolts are right? Surely this is easy!!!
Alternatively, get some m12, 17/18/19mm (can't remember the head size) headed bolts and some nylock nuts for underneath.
I've read now... I'll see if I've got the bolts lying around like I think I have.
As for...
I might have some in my garage. Let me have a look tonight. How much money are you really going to save over just ordering a whole new set of the right things for £25 for the pair!!!!
