    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Cheers mate. It's subtle and there for a reason TBH. Everything that's been covered was damaged/not quite right in some way. At least we'll be doing it on cheap(er) tyres! Do it mate! It's going to be a right good crack. Only reason I'm at the office today is to get enough days off to go...

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

So, small update: The last few weeks have seen some money problems, big ones, but as for wednesday this is all sorted :) I've decided (for now) that having my wheels refurbed is the best option, I just haven't got £900 spare at the moment for the CSL's and I do quite like the look of the...

    Clio 200: Jack question.

Why are you even considering using a peasant jack Chris???? Or is it just something to carry around in-case you get a flat?

    Rattle can refurb?

TBH if city are close, get them to do it. You WILL spend more than you think on materials. Especially when you factor in wet and dry, tape.. etc.. I'd bet money someone on here has some wheels you could borrow. People are helpful if you help.

    Rattle can refurb?

It's a bit of a pain, but just swap the spare over each time and do one at a time. Make sure you use the exact same process in terms of coats etc, otherwise you could end up with slightly different colours!

    Killed my 3rd Clio today

Shame it's dead, car looks pretty well. Wheel refurb and polished headlights would get the outside looking mint. What's t'engine plans? EDIT: Just seen megane? Sounds like you'll be making a car that's a load of hassle again if you ask me. Why not bung a new lump in it with some decent cams...

    Rattle can refurb?

Here's the level of finish you can get with rattle cans and a little patience: Or here's a 172 wheel:

    Rattle can refurb?

If you look through my old threads, you'll find two on wheel refurbs. If you can be bothered to do the prep, and that's a BIG if, you can achieve an excellent finish. I did 172 alloys twice, and did an o.z f1 to match a set I had. With the 172 wheels I did the following: Attacked...

    PC Builders etc, HELP.

Blinding, thought so. Cheers Mike. One piece of hardware works with the converter, the other spits its dummy out. FFS.

    PC Builders etc, HELP.

Sorry for the confusion. I don't have a board, the new PC doesn't have one. It's as simple as just fitting one, right? Would this do the trick? http://www.maplin.co.uk/two-port-pci-serial-cards-28719 The reason I say about USB -> Serial converters is because that's what we've been doing...

    PC Builders etc, HELP.

Hello chaps, I need to fit a PCI card board into a new HP (I think) machine, it's about 5 months old. I haven't touched hardware in ages, WTF do I need to look out for? I can't use a USB to PCI converter because the particular software is struggling with it, so I need to install this to...

    Latest Tweaks to my arsenal

Of course. They're not HID's, unless you fit HID bulbs. A small wiring adaptation, (takes about 10 minutes to create an adapator with bits from halfords) and they go straight in.

    Latest Tweaks to my arsenal

When I had a non sport, neither was I... Then I upgraded, I noticed how much better they were at projecting light and also how much less "poverty" they looked. Those style lights look very wrong with the sport front bumper etc.

I agree with the above, the black badge is fine but it needs dual optics and normal wipers that aren't.... red.
