Just changed the colour of my courtesy light from the standard to blue using three led's, looks really nice, but... the led's are contstanly on! When they are meant to be they are really bright and look great, when they arent meant to be there is still a really dull glow that you dont notice...

well i'm getting a 172 spoiler, am going to try and locate some ph2 lights at a local scrappy, and am thinking of going for teamdynamics pro race 2s. probably a bit of colour coding, and then maybe drop a bigger engine in.

get coilovers and a vag 1.8t lump and keep that gorgeous ibiza, i love the mk2 beeza especially in that colour, and the 1.8t is good for upto 440bhp!! with decent suspension it handle just aswell as a mk1 clio

surely you dont need a shortshifter to chagne gear as quickly as the box will allow? If you change gear and the box is still at too high revs for the speed in that gear, it just gonna drop the revs anyway. £165 on a shoirt gear stick, or practicing decent gear changes.... I no what i did, and i...

handling wise he will, i've driven a 1.4 8v with 17s on and lowered 60mm, it was shite, my standard setup suspension on 14s out handled easily, difference was almost like that between standard and a 182

the 1.4 8v is never gonna go that much quicker in a straight line, but get some nice lightweight 15's and a decent seuspension setup and it'll handle far better.

idle control valve? if its knackered the car will drop revs too low and cut out, symptoms sounds just right for it aswell, as your slowing down, if you rev it its ok. worth checking out.

reverse doesnt count! when talking about how many speeds a box has you only count forward gears!
