nick and/or stu, i've got a 1.6 8v clio that has full stainless steel exhuast, and will have decat as well if i get a PBV, probably a ITG panel filtert aswell. Will it still make my car run rich? or will it be worth while?
i know painting calipers can looka bit cack, but think painting them silver on yours not only would look good, but also cover up the nice orange look they have at the moment

wheel bearing for sure, had mine done recently, exact same symtoms, excepot while it was in they told me i needed new discs and pads aswell :( but £230 later and its ok, oh apart from the alternator belt and connected pulleys that was another £80
i have one that should fir a 1.6 16v if your interested, only covered 50miles before my missus got paranoid about me getting a fine for having it on. is a custome down pipe and decat 2" bore. if your interested let me know, oh and it did make thae car feel a LOT quicker through the rev range...
nice points, i was just bored at work reading there technical section about uoprated alternators, and that bit about increasing BHP and torque sounded very dodgy
