There's more than one issue on them i think, the other could indeed be related to the map sensor but one is 100% caused by changing the exhaust, it looks like they are going very lean on a wideband but it's not a fuelling issue!

It can be completely mapped out, took a long time to find and fix but it is possible

200hp per cylinder won't be an issue, maybe more.

I think the main issue is the inlet shaft, they do a stronger one for the q but not the m

I need to use the 02q setup because SQS Racing said i'll break the 02m with the torque this will make :(

Still waiting for the box finishing, unfortunately the quaife diff i bought for the 02m is different to the 02q one so i need to have a sleeve made and machined to fit the 02q bearing to the 02q diff.

Finally got round to fitting some bigger injectors to my car and got it on the dyne for a quick tune.

Lighter for NA pretty much but similar head design etc.

It's built to flow 300hp without a turbo and higher comp pistons. It would be interesting to see what it could make with no boost tbh. Hmmmm....

I think my crank is 89mm but can't rememebr what we actually came to now as its that long ago!, i moved the pin up the piston and had the longest rod possible, the oil rings are in the pin area.

How do you know it will be better? :p I already changed the crank, rods and pistons a fair bit :)

Could use a 1.8 crank but I would need to remake my pistons and rods

The gearbox is built with the SQS 4 speed drag and Quaife ATB :) Need farndon to stop messing about and get me my crank!

Gearbox and sequential shifter are due for delivery tomorrow/Friday :D

No, it's not been built for drag really, it's just to see what we can do with the F4R, of course we will be taking it to the 1/4 but been totally honest it's not something i'm personally interested in, that might change when i drive it though lol

Gearbox internals are just about ready to ship from SQS racing, had to change my 02M box for an 02Q as they don't think the 02m will be strong enough for 1000hp or so!

It's the shipping that kills it from the states so it's probably better to buy them in from there, just means there's absolutley no point in selling these retail as there's no margin at all!

We pay about £250 shipped i think, plus you get import on there which is usually £11 and VAT but thats claimed back. That would make them more than £304 already. I'll have to look into this!

I don't see how they can be selling them for £304 delivered for the SS intake and Inconel exhaust. If they can then I'd be just as well buying them in from them and not direct from supertech!
