Nah, because of the open loop delay the graphs usually look a bit crap till 4000 rpm or so in 4th as the car is running too lean to make power.

Only because i know a 182 with 428's won't usualyl make that power on a DD ;)

3rd gear run so the car will be climbing the front roller. na cars usually sit tight in the dyno and don't climb at all, if they do the power displays more than it would in a 4th gear pull. I don't think i have ever seen 428's do that power tbh!

Chip, if you listen at 4 min onwards on your video your car is rattling its ass off, you can even see it detting looking at the exhaust fumes

I assume you are trying to delete the codes with the engine off and only ignition on? I see battery voltage of 14.8 so that suggests it's running, if it is then you cant erase codes

Torque and power will only cross if both the X and Y axis scale is the same. Nothing to do with sync or anything else.

Its not all about the end dyno graph only showing gains at WOT, it's about how it picks up when you initially go for it, midrange cruising and how smooth it is. It's very rare that i have put a final map from one car onto another car and it be the same. So yes there is every point

How's loading a GENERIC map the same as having a car mapped on the dyno? I did 6 files for this car before we came to this result with the chunk of midrange torque and disabled the second 02 sensor.

Low based on what? Thats an average realistic figure for a 172, as is a 4-6hp gain from a map alone.

Why ouch? Because it's not making 10000000hp from a simple remap like some quote?
