    Mk1 Daily >> Trackcar

After driving the car for a fair few months with the headgasket gone and various other engine related problems (crank sensor, rad fan breaking etc), I decided to start looking around for a Williams engine to replace it. At the same time I also started buying up the parts to fit the wider front...

    Waterpump Questions

Would a non genuine pump be ok or are they not up to much? Do you have to touch the cambelt/timing when changing it? I'd rather take it somewhere and have it done properly as I'm not that familiar with working on the 172.

    Mk1 Daily >> Trackcar

Hi all Haven't had a project thread on here for any of my cars so thought I'd do one for the car that's been around longest. I bought the car just after passing my test and it was used as my everyday car up until last year when I got a 172. I found it listed on ebay as a 1.6 rsi but as we all...

    Waterpump Questions

Morning! I have a rather steady leak coming from what I think is the waterpump area on my ph2 172, so I need to get this sorted asap. How difficult is this job to do at home? How much should I be looking to pay to take it somewhere? Is there a garage around Kent recommended for such a job...

    Chipping my clio 1.8 16v mk1

Won't gain much with an off the shelf chip on them engines imo. Is it running the Williams ecu at the moment? There was the odd person about who could map that for you but I'm not sure you'll gain a hell of a lot on a standard engine, although raising the lower Williams limiter is always...

    Surrey Rolling Road 2014 Results

Had a good morning as usual at SRR, spoke to a few people who's names I have no idea on lol. Didn't take the 172 as it has a slight coolant leak so convinced my dad to run his S500/our towing car.

My brother watched a lot of Awesome Games Done Quick last week, it was really good and some serious skills on show, flew guys in from all over just to try and set new records, all for charity too. http://gamesdonequick.com/ http://tay.kotaku.com/agdq-2014-easy-links-to-every-single-run-1499638499

My weekly cleaning method in pics.... Any suggestions for better products?

Really like your car as above! Maybe look at sealing the wheels with something so you don't have to crack out the bilberry every time?
