there was a dodgy batch made up, too short basically and the flange hadn't been cut back, which JP did f**k all about sorting (another reason they dropped me, i moaned too much apparently!), unfortunatley nothing i can do anymore grind the sticky out flange off and try again

no that is a bodge the correct method is to smack fook out of it with a hammer, won't fix it but it'll be fun

you have to be careful, you can pop the spring out of its top hat if you go nuts, just tighten it until you feel resistance (using hand tools)

unless you go doing a rally car impression and jumping the car off bridges you'll be fine

you know what for the cost of 1 spring NEW you'll be better gettng a set of Eibachs 1 spring from renault (red and white markings on it) cira £85 set of Eibachs - £130 with a million mile warranty no brainer! oh and don't pay more than 1hour labour to fit ALL 4 springs

yep, normal aircon cars have the auto tensioner on the aux belt, 172 cup is easy!
