could be worse, i had a 54plate 40kmiles 182 in the other day that the owner had just bought, HPI clear etc etc fitted with a 172 engine from 2001 with cira 100K miles by the look of it :(

sportex is about as close as you'll get to standard sound, the quality is actually quite good too

yep seriously, waste of time its not going to make your car any quicker by fitting a fancy panel filter no one bothers cleaning them (its a hassle to do anyway!) its all we use, even on the track cars etc, Sam's 182 did 192 bhp and 166 torques using a stock filter, they're not restrictive...

it is a UV/heat reflective fancy one, think they're £350 ish new from the dealer

max wear out quicker - in short don't bother stick to HC discs, crazy people out there sell them new for about £40 now, how they make any money is beyond me!

no it shouldn't turn IMO, never had a problem with the new ones

and the belt tension was perfect AFTER you'd ran the engine? check it again and you might find a surprise

brake pipes, servo pipe and clutch cable run behind there, you need some form of heat protection

no chance its a NEW driveshaft at £140, they've flogged you a service exchange unit (looks new but is a refurbed old item), NEW ones are £240ish

what area of Birmingham out of interest?

£10k a set?
