torque figures are about right, power figures are miles off though which is hardly surprising with dastek dyno, to get 230bhp you HAVE to have pistons, its not possible without (217 is the most i've ever seen on stock pistons)

dephaser is a must, all the cars i see that haven't had it done are funnily enough coming to our place with rattling dephasers, and people say they're not neccesary - REALLY!

we're £650 for cambelt kit, aux belt kit, dephaser, oil and filter, timing belt end cam...
240-250 is achievable with the stock rockers, obviously with rally engines (any engine infact) you want the strongest bits you can get for reliability, but at MEGA cost :(
well if it didn't make the noise before and has only just stared doing it then IMO the tensioner has moved out of position which is causing the the tapping noise, seen it loads of times
