how hard are you planning on reving the thing? and more importantly why? you don't need to go over 8000rpm, the stock rockers are fine at this RPM in my opinion
i'll have a check toorrow, the pump and pipework is specific but i think the rack is a stock road car item (different ends, but the actual rack is the same)
i'm still trying to figure out how it happened, was the car slammmed or something? looks a bit like the shocks bottomed out or failed and threw you off the circuit
stock 182 manifold is fine for big power, save your money!
good luck actually buying the sodemo followers, they WILL NOT sell them to you unless you buy an engine from them
probably because it says "MAX PRESSURE 60psi" on the sidewall of the tyre, therefore they've put in max pressure, there really are some retarded people out there
or do it the easy way, undo the 18mm bolt on the lower shock, jack up car, get mate to push down on wheel while you pull spring out, reverse procedure - done
if take you more than 10min give up and go to a garage!
you'll be needing DEEP pockets, Neil roper did ours which was a relativley basic job, stock sized valves, cut back guides and a wee bit of porting, was a 240bhp engine
bit of a tw*t to do fella, slam panel has to come off, upper engine mount, aux belt off, tensioner off, upper alt bracket off, alternator off, pulley off pump and THEN you get to the PAS pump
we have new recon units on the shelf for £160inc vat
Vehicle Report
Customer - Andrew Morley
Vehicle - Renault clio 182 - VO54 FFZ
Mileage - 32160
Mr Morley recently visited us so we could inspect a knocking noise coming from the front suspension, during conversation with Mr Morley he asked if we would cast our eye over the entire vehicle...
I didn't charge Andy a penny for any of this by the way, kinda felt sorry for him, but now you've got £5K in your back burner..............................................lend me a £5er? ;)
it had been converted for someone with no left leg (electronically activated clutch!)
and the engine was a 2001 phs1 172 complete with an over tight cambelt and a few oil leaks, looked like it had done 80Kmiles approx!
