LOL! I knew there was going to be something, but I thought it'd be "Needs Brembo's"
I actually rather like the air freshener and everyone that has got in lately has commented on how nice it smells in there.
Cheers mate, someone off of here is giving me a hand and we're doing it in his garage, so hopefully we'll be quite alright.
You got any idea when I'm getting a smell when pressing the clutch down? Car's been going mental with this clutch issue.. lol!
Thanks mate :)
I'd love to Mike but my car sounds like it's about to set fire as soon as I press the clutch down.. LOL!
I'll pop by once it's fixed next Saturday or another day.
Cheers mate, I've wanted them for ages, so I'm pretty happy with it.
Cheers mate, we'll have to get a few shots together, I think they're a quite good pair, but still very different.
Spacers, plates, ph2 boot... I don't think I'll ever stop.
I've done balljoints before, just making sure he put the right size ones in, otherwise they knock.
I know nothing about track rod ends, but I will be changing those now :)
Re: Though Broken, Still Awesome (Ph1 Content)
Cheers mate, plates or on the agenda too actually.
Yeah I want a smaller font plate I've just never taken the time to order one if I'm honest.. lol!
Didn't know it could be reset...
Why do I think it's broken?
Because yesterday my pedal was clicking in the first 25mm of travel, whether coming up or down...
So, my clutch is currently dead (just when the car felt better than ever before), even with it's issues, it got me to Luton, so I gave the wheels a quick going over, and took some shots (only iPhone pics for now):
Some half decent pics of the phase 2 dash:
The latest...
I'm fixing it on saturday... (new clutch kit, cable, GB oil, everything).
I needed to get to Luton this weekend, and as it was drivable, I went for it, it made it just fine, even fixed itself... but then, today, there's a burning smell when the clutch is down... lol!
I just wanted an idea of...
Re: ** So my clutch has just "gone" - Updated, Help! **
OK, so I just took the car for a quick trip around the block, the judders are back and I'm now getting a burning smell upon depressing the clutch....
AND I'm supposed to drive it home from Luton to Kent...
Thoughts?
Re: ** So my clutch has just "gone" - Updated, Help! **
OK, so now I'm asking questions about something I'm not even sure if it exists?

I think I'll be there for the day of the show, not the day before before Tony.
(I think this was the opinion of most in the camping thread).
What do you mean maybe?
Have you run Apex before Chris??
I only ask as 90% of the forum say apex are pants, and haven't even tried them.
If you have, then the best I'd suggest is sportlines.
I seem to be a magnet for the weird.
I recently found out who te boy was that followed me in the Lupo. He lives very local and hangs out with what can only be described as a "moped gang"..
They think they're amazing, and seem to want me to be their leader... LOL
As for this dude I was about...
How random, I had a polish guy on friday hang out his window in traffic and shout "Why's your steering wheel so small? Cheaper than full size?"
When I asked wtf he was talking about, he just said "I was joking, I love it"
Weird git.
Re: ** So my clutch has just "gone" - Updated, Help! **
Cheers for picking up Danny, TBH it did proper s**t me up... one minute it was FUBAR'd and then the next it was as good as new... lol!
FFS, standard issue then is it? ;)
LOL!
Does anyone know what needs to be replaced to fix the...
