How do you take this out GRRR!!

I think it just pushes out mate. Get a screwdriver with a bit of electrical tape wrapped around it, and prise it out from underneath.

Clean bean with new wheels fitted!

Looks great, really finishes the car off. Although I liked the black on orange, I wasn't a fan of the std wheels.

Some pics of my new place... *FRP Content! ;) *Updated*

I'm not quite sure how I missed this thread, but I bloody love it. The car. The place. Your face. Everything. <3

Why does my speedo keep doing this? (Video)

Very easy as long as you can find it mate, takes about 10 minutes to change. Basically look down the back of the engine, there's something sticking out of the top of the gearbox. There's a guide on here if you search the guides section.

    ClioSport Saturday Camping

No, "Either Night" please. If you want to stay both, stay both, but either isn't cool. I'll probably end up putting in some sort of provisional booking for say 20 people on the night before and 30 on the night after. As I'll probably be doing two booking you can be both, but not either.

    ClioSport Saturday Camping

Right ladies and gentlemen, I'd like a rough idea of who wants to camp somewhere before/after the event. I only need rough numbers to allow me to contact local campsites, so if you're considering it, put your name down. I know that when you'd want to camp may depend upon how far you have...

Yeah, it's gold. And it smells of warm horse sperm.

Shame they're green, but apart from that, awesome.

    Cleaned my Cup!

I hate to agree with captain alien spunk, but that's exactly what it needs. That and the CS sticker removing. Very nice otherwise.

Negative Camber Spacers - two birds with one stone!

Good way to start the day, nice one.

    Another Jacking Question.

Not that you need make more posts mate, just become a paying member, as far as I'm aware you can't lift the whole front at once easily. I've always had lowered Clio's though, so I may be wrong and just never able to get under to it.

Rim size? Please explain a bit.

15's are 1,000,000% where it's at. Having owned a clio on 17's, 16's and 15's, I can safely say that the car drives far better on 15's than any other wheel. I'm no professional, but the car feels much more "chuckable" on the 15's, 16's felt good, but a little more sluggish and less go-kart...

It's awful if you like torrents. AWFUL. Can only DL past 11pm.

    2nd gear whine?

Personally I'd be going for a rebuild over another box. You're getting an essentially new box, as opposed to one off of a "30k car" that's been abused for 29,999 of those miles.

Very nice mate, welcome to the club.

    Stu's Awesome Ph1 172

Re: ph1 project take 2 Love this car and the care it's given. Wheels should have gone silver though, fact ;)
  25. Rob

Yeah, it's gold. And it smells of warm horse sperm.

Even I'll admit it wasn't quite the same without you, now sign back up, you know it's worth it. ;) I actually really like it, I gave away a light green one two years ago, 4 speed too. Must confess, I've never loved driving something as much as I did that little thing.

17th April, private car park, all to ourselves (offical list thread)

I'll be coming along to this, sorry I didn't organise it with you mate or at least help out more, I've been silly busy lately and then on holiday, I'll make sure I drag a few other members along to make up for it. :)

Re: Jon's MK1 172 project thread Re: Missing bolts... don't worry about it too much, mine's not exactly held together at all point either. On the bright side, Fred and Danny both seem to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of what they are, so if you ever want replacements, just ask them (or...

    Cliché car park photos!

Brilliant shots, love it. Exactly how I'd have a 182.
