IIRC, there's two Koni shock types, shorter and standard?
If you've got shorter shocks, and standard length springs, I'm going to guess that the dampers are currently doing 0 as they are fully extended, and the car is just bouncing around like mental on the springs.

Meguaris Scratch X is pretty much bang on, it does as well as a by hand product can IMO.
The headlight will need wet and dry, then polish etc.
Get yourself a meguaris polish foam pad, then use the scratch X, finish with some SRP

See how much of the inner arch is visible, some 20mm or so hubcentric spacers sort that right out.
I've not current got the standard wheels fitted, but when I put them back on, it'll be the first thing I do.

Generally, dependant upon age, the cambelt is the big thing to look out for, every 70k or 5...
No need to use mesh, just butcher a lower grille from a mk2 ph2 sport.
Without it you'll have issues with stones etc I'd imagine.
