Not sure if SRS?
I wasn't even sure where exactly in the country you were though mate!!! When art thou down south?
Yes, yes it is. :) Are you nearby then mate?
Details are in a post a few up mate.
Yeah mate we did, lovely!
Cinder toffee ice cream, awesome.
100% agree with the above, but also, check the two bolts that bolt the balljoint to the lower wishbone, one of two things could have happened:
1) They've come loose
2) Someone's used a 10mm balljoint when it's a 12mm, eventually these work loose and knock.
Other than these two, if it's...
The lodges are near the little village that is Greystoke, really nice and pretty location.
Yeah Kirkstone Pass is amazing, it was great to drive tbh, a little hairy at times, but great.
Ullswater is nice, it's quite difficult to walk along though, we just jumped out and wandered around a bit...
If you want low, then 60mm apex do as you wish.
No need for shocks or anything, I ran my non sport like that for over a year with no issues.
Eibach are a better ride, but only go as low as sportlines, the apex are just fine though IMO.
Funnily enough the dopey tart doesn't want me to put the silver f1's on!
They are going on, within 1 month, I promise.
Thanks,
RE:MPG
It was the average of the entire trip, honestly.
You have to remember that is two 350 motorway trips included.
I went for the superior lodge, which means a much larger lodge, with better furniture and a view.
There are four options:
Standard
Superior
VIP (Same as standard but with a hot tub)
Superior VIP (Same as superior with a hot tub).
Mine was 7 nights and was £460
I'll update the OP tomorrow...
Re: Jon's MK1 172 project thread
Looks like a good project, nice to see the work being done at home etc.
If you ever need anything/help when you're down working on it, don't be afraid to ask.
Was it you I spoke to about them before? Really lovely accommodation.
Cheers mate, you definitely need to get up there, it really lets you use the car properly. It's a bit far for a day trip though ;)
The sun's out again, which means only one thing - The Clio becomes a road trip pony and off I (we) go.
That time of year arrived that see's me and the GF heading off to the Lake District, and once again, you get the little picture write up. :o
An early start, 4:30 a.m. to be precise, and...
Unfortunately, neither am I mate.
Only person I know who's half decent with a camera is TheEvilGiraffe and he moved to the other side of the water. FFS.
I bet the guy couldn't believe it when he came to pick it up!
Great work as ever, I was lucky with my ph1 not being in bad condition paint work wise, but if any of my future cars ever need sorting, I'd love to bring one over to you.
