I have a supersports system with Decat and have not be pulled over once to do with noise!!! Just don't floor it infront of pc plods I think as well any system that's not at the same db reading as factory standard is illegal it's just hard to prove what that level is.

No but they sell a 172 silenced Decat although if I'm being honest decat it for the noise or don't bother silenced decat seem a waste of money to me no hard and fast proof that they add bhp. Just noise hench a waste getting a silenced one

Mine seemed to pull better at the top end but has a bit of a flat spot around 4k rpm. Nothing too bad though

The only thing you gain is better low down grunt but you lose the top end slightly if you go from a 4-1 to a 4-2-1 manifold. For the cost of everything and the pain in the arse to fit it isn't really a worthwhile mod.
