Pure Motorsport engine is what you want. Everyone with a proper comp clio has 230-240bhp with straight forward mods but to make the next jump there only seems to be there with 260 and hopefully above with there latest engine.
Yes and they will do track ones as its only the valving and springs that are different? does easy. Even mine have enough adjustment to accomodate double the spring rates
Front are 360ish or 60NM/mm - does feel harsh at all infact im thinking of going stiffer at the rear.
Interesting really if fancy damper allow you to run stiffer and get more compliance or run softer and more control???
As title for circa 240 bhp n/a engine.
i have both injectors, any experience on which is best? Megane are 491cc and pico 162s are 377cc approx so fine on flow but what about spray pattern.
Not sure with spacers as they may only work on parallel bodies as tapered ones you would get a taper then parallel then taper?
interesting artical on tapered vs parallel and more importantly induction length on a f4r.

was it mapped after fitting the manifold? That's what I would ask. When I changed manifolds on the rally car the fuelling needed quite a bit doing as it created a lot of lean spots. Could be a reason for failure.
why is it as in competition you would jump up a class going over 2 ltr. How tuneable was the point not engine capacity.
s2000 k20 engine is the easiest and cheapest to tune. Itbs and ecu and decent exhaust is 260 bhp and factory reliability. Loads available too.
im talking keeping it 2 ltr so your comparing apples with apples. A 2 ltr xe from JRE with 260bhp like the pm engine will be near twice the price as PM one. Any competition builder ( not home grown) of xe's will dry sump it if the limiters 8.5k.
In your later post you agree for a 240 bhp comp...
You can just fit solid lifters in the f4r and cap at 8k, xe would need dry sump for8k plus anyhow. Be interesting what JRE would want for a similar output to the PM Sandys engine. Don't think you will find the xe's cheapest.
If you believe that then your in cuckoo land.... To get 270bhp from a duratec will cost you over 10k all in. The above spec will get you 230bhp. I have enough friends that I compete with that to back it up to.
