absolutely.
with this route you use all existing wiring plug and play for leases than half the price and can upgrade to x dash at a later date.
just need to get it to work lol !
To change the ECU has ment you have to rip out all the very expensive Reanultsport loom. Only option was to buy a K-Tec ECU and patch loom and software licence and cable for nearly 2k.!!!
Well im working with doing this plug and play with a DTA and it being half the price of the above...
Just put a heat reflective plate under the sausage filter between the rad and thats as good as you will get. You can spend hundreds on a airbox but you will gain nothing.
If the head was reversed like a Saxo 16v or an Corsa etc the yes but with it being at the front of and engine will direct...
The super sprint dia is small bore to compared to a 182. Im going to see if i can get the 182 manifold or a 172 at worst case fitted to my F7R engine in the new car. If not the Supersprint modified to fit.
But they benifit from a larger diameter exhausts than most but maybe its to accomodate increased gas speed rather than volume.... Who know not my area of experise.!! Interesting that the exhaust manifold primary tube diameters seems to have increased over the generations compare a Williams vs a...
My F7R megane head has inlets modified to the 1*2 gasket so are the quite big but exhaust ports are small, seems to be a similar theme on reanualt engines.
Just sharing my experience, a good clutch will make it harder to get a good start.
Sadev FD are over 1000 quid but im sure a Gripper FD and Pinnion will fit a STDSA box but not a ST75. I have both and they look the same but need to properly measure it.
??? Still why does it need track time or worries about suspension?
If you know these cars as long as its had a recent gearbox refresh then your OK. Cup racer coilovers are on here for 7-800 quid so no sweat if it hasent. Personally i think its good value and im no big K-Tec fan.
Compensate for wider track as they used the uniball set up at the front. Euro ones as the rear hub (used 182 cup hubs) where wider so ET 48 compensated for this and keep the similar width as UK cars.
Nope UK cup racer wheels are 43 and Weight 7.7kg approx Euro cup racer wheels 48s weight about the same. The 43/38s which are speeline general purpose are the ones that weight more.
Maxi engine very expensive valve train thats were the $$$ is.
Pure MS route looking at 8k rev limit seems to be the way to go and keep costs down by just running off the shelf solid lifters. Sandy Brown knows what hes doing so him developing this engine is a real positive step.
