Considering doing them silver myself tbh, although I'm scared of them ending up dark when lacquering as usual! LOL!
I may prep, prime and paint them myself, then have a bodyshop or similar lacquer them.
Dan, no one is game to do two colours, especially spraying a rim on, your mate must be a one man miracle!!! Even some proper crazy wheel specialist down in tonbridge wouldn't touch it. Tossers. lol!
Luke, I quite like black f1's as long as they're gloss they look alright most of the time...
After having an altercation with a kerb one day a few weeks ago I'm having some serious trouble finding someone to paint up my spare alloy the same as the ones already on the car...
So I'm in a bit of a pickle, my options:
Have all of the wheels done again, colour unknown? (Black? Silver...
If it's twisting, I'd suggest it's twisting at the joint between the back box and centre section, get a good exhaust clamp on there and do it up tight. :)
Wish I'd come, but I've really met any of you lot (bar Brian briefly) and I had an engagement party to go to
Looks like a good laugh, plus I love a piss up ;)
I don't understand your problem.
Cable ties holding it in shape and a socket in the bottom, you should have no problems, at all.
Post some pics up and I'll try to help a bit more.
I can't imagine having a job where this sort of stuff was enforced tbh.
I'd rather not have a job than be treated like a child.
I work solely on a laptop, that has never been touched by anybody with regards to locking anything down.
Play in the balljoints/the wrong bolt size's fitted.
If I were you, I'd just change the pair to eliminate them.
They are supposed to be 12mm bolts, but for some reason you can buy 10mm and 12mm, if the 10mm bolts get fitted they just work loose and wobble. Most motorfactors sell Balljoints for...
I can understand the thinking behind the purple and it does look quite cool, but the cream just looked "right"
Although I'm not you, so I cannot really say, I think the cream gives the car exactly the look you're going for.
Quite like it Mark, but if I were you I'd go back to the paintball place and have them shoot the roof/doors/rear quarters. Then lacquer the whole car!!!
Wheels look fecking mint Jason.
Keep it up with them, a really good choice in beige.
If you need some part worn tyres for them, (I know tyres won't be cheap) I may know somewhere.
Yes actually, lol... give me five mins and I'll upload it to my work's server... lol!!!!
(this is only mk2 sport alloys atm, I intend to do it for every standard clio wheel though)
Edit: FFS Can't use work server... 1 min
