Its great to see finally some specific kit for the 172/182 producing the goods.
y0z2a,
Will you publish the graphs showing std vs above kit, would be great to see it visually. Also when is the website up with individual prices as some people might just want to do it step by step and not in...
Please would be great as i have been told Apex lower the most but it caused a problem on my car.
One last thing on the rear dampers did you get new rubber topmounts and washers as i also noticed the Koni ones (damper rods)were bigger than the renault ones and would not fit.
Your help would...
Car looks great, can i ask what colour were the springs supplied with your Koni kit. I had Yellow Apex ones and the car sat so low it was touching the wheel arch liners. I had to take it off. I have since been told that it luck of the draw which springs you get...!
Let me know as im really...
Totally agree with your comments for the clio. On the EVO they were on 100% as it was a second car and used to get thrashed everytime i took it out. EVO brakes are excellent but over heat the pads (very common) and you get deposits on the discs and brake judder occurs. To cure it you needed new...
They are actually quite good due to them being quite light in weight. If you want to keep the brakes cool then the trick with my old EVO was to run brake ducting hose from the front grill to the hubs. Worked a treat cost about £20.
Will be looking into this for the next track day.
Renault repeatedly said there was not going to be a 182 cup. This was even published in Auto express a few times.
There were lots of threads about it too.
Remember when Renault officially said there would only be one Williams then the 2 and then the 3 came out. Remember when Renault said that there would not be a 182 Cup, then there was.
I believe there will be a liminted edition and probabley at least 1 before the new shape. For me auto express...
After every trackday you need to bleed at least the fluid that was in the calipers as that is where it will boil. That causes all the spongyness and long pedal issues.
Regards to oil mine did not use a drop for the whole trip and its still golden yellow. Was changes 4k before the trip.
Oh i...

Fair play to the old girl she stood up well and i was impressed how she performed all weekend.
Fred 2001Dynamic. Thanks for the offer but its going back today, plus the kit was catching the arch liners so at the Nurburg i could see big problems !
I have no real issue with DT but will be pursuing my monies through Larkspeed / Koni. Its the principle of it all.
Anyways the rear...

Car 172 cup 53 plate
Monday recieved my Koni suspension kit from Larkspeed (was open place with stock) opened up had yellow APEX springs. Questioned it but apparently there are a couple of springs they use and APEX are one. So today i went to Demeon Tweeks to have it fitted (its close and i...
Kit was from Larkspeed, i thought you would have got Koni branded springs not a competitors spring.....
Should i get them replaced with eibach sportline or pros ???
Guys, i have just recieved my Koni sport suspension kit in the post. It has APEX spring with it. Is this right ? I would have thought it would have Koni branded springs ??
Car Clio 172 cup.
For me i would pay for the extra performance every time. Example why have PF brakes (which are the dogs mailto:B@llox">B@llox) and the most expensive and not use the same logic with tyres.

Get a set of PE2s 205/45 16 and in the wet it feels as good as Yokos in the dry !!!
Yozza i really do think you should get some and try them they are in a different league. Yokos are really cheap but if you want the best you have to pay for it...
