non cup, lowered, at a small car dealer round the corner from my work, WTF??? £3K??? does he not have a clue what its worth or is it a nail?
i shall go have a nose next week me thinks!
they are line honed (rocker cover IS the cam carrier on the F4R), but i've done it before without issue, someone will be along in a minute and call me the anti-christ for suggesting it, but its fine, i would say modern day machining tolerances are fairly accurate ;)
all 3 plenums are different and model specifc
ph1 and phs2 172 plenum both fit the phs1+2 engines (both fit both engines)
182 only fits 182
you can swap the rocker covers contary to popular belief
^yours isn't dephaser, you forgot to mention your noise is random! thats the belt kit making the noise on yours, i've got 6 cars (including yours coming back in for replacement :()
i'll take you out in the car when its done ;)
i did more torque and 9bhp less when compared to a stock 172 on ITB's (same rollers) on stock matched inlets with 428 cams ;)
grease = no, you're asking to kill yourself
there are lots of "cheap and nasty" studs knocking about, wrong lengths etc etc, incorrect install yada yada
no offense intended here, but stuff like this SHOULD be left to pros (with qualifications!), at the end of the day its a bloody important...
^i disagree, i've done 190+bhp several times using the oe inlet (albeit matched) and so far 212bhp IIRC on bodies, for a "mild" cam they do well!
my new ones are going for mapping next week hopefully, fingers crossed it does 200berries!
Cliosport already hold the (unoffical) record for the largest amount of clios in one place and also the most on track at one time (brands hatch about 7-8 years ago, think it was nearly 100 cars)
