do you have the spacers fitted? are you using cheapo bearings? are you over 20stone? do you bounce it off curbs? does the garage know the torque setting for the rear hub?
no LOL i haven't got £40K knocking about and i wouldn't have the first clue on how to map a car, i leave that to people who know what they're doing
according to PS's rollers a 172 "loses" 50bhp through the gearbox, i think not

my record is currently 22min wheels on ground to wheels on ground (but that's going flat out which i rarely do!)
discounting wheels bolts (only have to remove the front wheels) to do the suspension its 2 bolts at the rear, 18mm socket and 4 bolts at the front and 2 top caps, all 21mm socket...
the dephaser pulley is the main part of the VVT system, its full of oil and works via a 12v switch that allows oil to flow into the pulley (this is in simple terms BTW)
when oil flows in, the pulley is advanced (advancing the timing)
