the hole size where they bolt to the lower arm is different and uses a smaller bolt which allows the ball joint to be bolted up out of alignment (only slightly) due to the hole on the lower arm being larger
i drill out the new ball joint holes and use the OE bolts = perfect

the best FCS was the one at stanford hall IMO
your implying an after market ecu will give more power than a stock mapped unit which isn't the case
£10K's worth of motec Vs a stock well mappped ecu will make zero difference, it'll just make your ego bigger down the pub
oh and be careful with second hand boxes, very very very easy to get stung
if i'm installing a second hand box i always suggest they get stripped down and inspected first
no not really, we put a thicker selector fork on 3rd and that's about it, and a rebuild is anywhere from £275 for the basics upto around £450 for eveything (plus vat)
then you have the labour to remove/refit the box
and a new clutch
upto £1k worst case if its really broken
